AOR2 is when an additional line in ecas appears that says "we started processing your app on xxxx date".

You should check out the outland CPC M thread, I know there's been some inconsistencies with updates etc as CPC M is taking on workload to alleviate other VOs.

thanks so much. i assumed that CPC M was doing this as per others having their applications processed there that should have been elsewhere. its good to see the commitment to getting things done. im not rushing AOR2 i just wasnt sure if what i had received was just an update or if it was indeed the AOR2. im happy they even let us know! i was just expecting their next contact to be AOR2.

I submitted it online. One time it took me three days till they asked me to send them my passport for a visa, the second time I have waited for 2 weeks.

Only in ECAS, which is more accurate than gckey.

This sounds like it could be accurate, there's a decent chance they have not begun processing yet.

same here except instead of the line 2 reading as yours, mine states "we have received your medical report."

Police check etc which was all uploaded on the 17th. My GCKey says it's all been uploaded and says my medical has been passed.
Guessing they just haven't started processing it all yet.

It's a long process. We're 8.5 months in...trust me, I get it, haha.

Still in the time frame though and I know it does, I keep telling my wife this, it's just frustrating that GCkey and ecas don't always match up, it's like one seems to be behind the other. It's like your prepare yourself for the suggested 12 months but when things start happening you just want it to flow and it doesn't lol

Trust me...London VO said they requested additional docs on July 19...never got any requests...lost 3 months and they almost made the decision without the docs. ECAS ended up updating last week of October "we sent you correspondence on July 19"...it's infuriating

That's crazy! Nothing seems to be very clear. I thought we would be at the London VO being in the UK but being kept in Mississauga.
Every case is unique and there is never any consistency, you can never go by someone else's time line.
It's difficult when you think you have put your life decision in someone else's hand, they literally control what will happen.
