You can contact this number 1-888-242-2100 - better to contact them at 8 A.M when they start their day, so your waiting time will be shorter. I contacted them in the morning about my application status and got my PPR same day in the late afternoon.

It depends on the wording. If you are at ip2, then your background should says "We are processing your background check...". If it says "Your application is in progress, we'll let you know...", then you are at ip 1.

I just logged in to my account and i saw it says: Updated. When i checked, everything was the same, no status changed.
Then I went back to the previous page and instead of Updated it now says Your action is required, however, I still do not see anything, no status updates, no messages.

What your thoughts, guys?

If you saw "updated', that's a very good thing! You are now in IP2 and can expect PPR this week! You didn't order GCMS notes right?

It might just be a technical glitch. It happens sometimes when you call them.
