Maybe our routes are different but destination remains the same. We will wait for you thereCompletely stuck in my head now.
Since I'm taking the scenic route through the student visa, french, and whatever else compensates for age, I won't be going faster. But I will be in Toronto for at least part of the wait.
Your analysis is comprehensive and clear.Thank you.My views with regards to the latest development of OINP HCP Stream re-opening & what would follow :-
All in all , OINP reopening is the best news we have seen in a long while as everyone with a score of 400 plus now has a fair chance to fulfill their Canada dream . People with scores of 420 plus could ideally wait till Feb-March & get a direct ITA or could go for the OINP route . However everyone who is below 420 shouldnt let this opportunity go by & should apply for OINP immd .
U can accept the ITA anytime before ur nomination is approved & 600 points creditedYour analysis is comprehensive and clear.Thank you.
I have a question on the sequence of application process :
Scenario : As OINP will start issuing NOI before Nov 15th ,and if someone accepts the NOI and submits the application by 31Dec , OINP will take atleast 2 months to complete the application and issue the nomination , so let's say by 28 Feb 2018 they issue the nomination and you get ITA after that , what if ,if someone being in EE pool also gets ITA before 28 February 2018 itself based on CRS points and accepts the ITA and starts the application process .
I am not sure how this works . or once you have accepted to apply for OINP and submitted the application , you are no longer eligible for EE ITA directly based on CRS score ? where can I find the more information about this.
Exactly what I have interpreted for OINP HCP re-opening. I think they will issue fresh NOI starting tomorrow and close by end of the week. This way, they will have clear idea in the last week of Dec.17 on the no.of applications received, considered under 2017 quota (if any), and to be accounted for 2018 quota as well. Once the 1500 CAD is in with the application before 31st Dec. 2017, the candidate is bound to wait for OINP. I would go further to interpret that keeping the validity open for 6 months has resulted in uncertainty on number of candidates that would use up the NOI, and this has in turn affected their judgement on application processing. So, its very likely the window remains 45 days instead of 6 months, even if they close and reopen again in future. My views with regards to the latest development of OINP HCP Stream re-opening & what would follow :-

- OINP still had approx 500 nominations available for 2017 which would get taken up by people who already had received NOI's in June / July
- OINP has mentioned on its website "NOI's issued after 1st Nov 2017 would be valid for 45 days until 31st Dec 2017"...My take is that now that the quota has been announced for 2018 , fresh NOI's would be issued in the month of Nov . The OINP update also says that , once quota would be exhausted for 2017 , 2018 certificates would be issued
- All fresh NOI's would be issued before 15th/16th Nov since they would carry a validity of only 45 days & would expire on 31st Dec hence no logic of issuing NOI after 15th Nov
- Expiry of all old & Fresh NOI's ( by 31st Dec 2017 ) issued would mean that everyone who needs to apply & pay CAD 1500 before 31st Dec thus giving the exact count of OINP interested candidates
- Ontario coming out with this announcement at the end of the year means they expect scores to go down hence would wanna zero in on their prospective set of candidates . While Federal & Provincial work separately yet somehow through Express entry both do ultimately tie in
- Any chance of scores going down in Nov - Dec is bleak because if the scores tend to go down then lesser people would opt for OINP . My view is that CIC would continue to draw 2700-3000 candidates in the last 4 draws of the year which is expected to be on 8th & 22nd Nov & 6th & 20th Dec . Bigger draws like 3700 would immediately start in Jan thus bringing down scores drastically thus ensuring good prospective Ontario candidates before 31st Dec as well
- Focus of OINP would be on people between 400-420 category which accounts for almost 9000 people as of now in the pool hence chances of fresh NOI's being issued to these people would be higher
Any hoped-for landing date?Maybe our routes are different but destination remains the same. We will wait for you there
I agree that they are likely to keep it to 45 days next year.Exactly what I have interpreted for OINP HCP re-opening. I think they will issue fresh NOI starting tomorrow and close by end of the week. Thank you so much. Yes, I have planned for giving IELTS again with more focus and preparations this time. I hope i can at least cross the 400 barrier this timeYour IELTS can be your ticket to success. Work on those scores, you surely have good scope for improvement and it will make a good difference to your scores. Many here saw leaps in their crs scores just by improving the ielts scores. All the best.
Yes , you have to work in the province of Ontario but only for a couple years...post that it is your call as to where you wish to work and settle.Hi Friends, I have a question, might be a basic one. If one got PR based on ONIP means he/she should work only at Ontario province? Or can work anywhere in Canada? I strongly believe that since Ontario nominationed for PR, one should work in that province only. Isn't it?
Since am taking PNP route, it may take longer than direct CIC applicants. May be around May - July 2018.Any hoped-for landing date?
