Yo , your weird AOR contains corse language ! . you can't just disrespect CIC on public ! we 're all canadians with or without Citizenships and we respect our Canadian government .
Lol, you obviously don’t watch any election campaign messages from various parties and government officials

Yes I can, its call satire, and its used all over the world, thats one of the great freedoms of living in Canada.

No no no, dont get confused, you are Canadian when and if you get Cotozenship, and you are naturalized citizen, you are korean, I am mexican, we are applying to become Canadian Citizens.

I respect the canadian government, that i make fun on their systems and protocols, is another matter, doesnt mean I am disrespectful. The kind of government that dont accept criticisims or jokes are located in cuba, North Korea and all those places, maybe you mistake the place you wanna live in

You earn a medal for this. Congratulations

I see a trend. Most of the people who got their AOR's are either Single or Family of 2. :)

not in our case, so i wouldn't speculate
getting aor quickly does not necessarily mean getting the citizenship faster, it's just the first step :) we all have our own road ;)

Idle mind needs something to do, so I was trying to connect the dots. You're right, no point. This thread is not the best indicator of the overall progress.

Better to check the global spreadsheet which has over 450+ data points for October. People from QC, and BC did get AORs I believe.

For AOR, location should not matter anyway.

you are right i checked; still plenty of oct 16 people who got nothing yet; it will come :)
by the way, i didn't find myself again on the main spreadsheet, all of it is really long, but wasn't there for appl delivered on oct 16 group; thanks :)

I could not find my data till now in the file, so I will add it again

Spreadsheet updated ... one last slot available in it! :)

For everyone who is waiting an AOR , there is no need to worry! As long as you didn't receive back your envelope in the mailbox why then you are worried? Be positive!

In General, it is actually too early for an AOR! Usually AORs were happening within 30-40 days! Yes, it is confusing when you see other fellows who already got one, but let's be real here, thousands of folks applied within the same days that we all applied in.
I bet the enveloped got mishmashed all together from the same week and looking at the spreadsheet, see how many applicants got their application delivered on October 16! It is insane! :)

Also we need to consider the time that the Intake Office Sydney will spend in Tim Horton's; that is also a big factor! After all, if you check google maps, it is right across of the CIC Intake Office :D

Enjoy your day, have a lovely time with the family and have a wonderful weekend :)

I see around 500 names in the October sheet. However, how many would have actually applied since C6 (October 11)? is it in the tens of thousands / thousands / hundreds?

A wild guess?

The average monthly intake before the mess caused with the C-24 and C-6 was 20.000 applicants per month.

So IMHO we are now witnessing tsunami of multiple average monthly intake.

How big? My estimate based on the C-24 government reported numbers, and October/September sheet ratio is around 50.000 - 60.000 applicants since October 11.

You'd have a whole bunch of people who would have suddenly been eligible to apply for citizenship a year in advance. So if we're talking about 20K/month, that means about 240K additional applicants who are now eligible.

Let's say conservatively, 20% of these applicants applied in October to "beat the rush". So that's about 50K additional applicants.

50K + 20K = 70K applicants (conservative estimate) would have applied in October.
