i highly disagree you thought but good points u mentioned.
i have applied 11 OCT 2017.
you can say I am easy case: YET no AOR.
1. have never travelled outside Canada since day 1 arived 2010, long before eligillity
2.Lived only 2 addresses same town since 2010 current one is since 2012 since eligillity.
3.No employment since severe injury 2013 but that doesnt determine eligibillity.
4.sent Drivers License, PR Card both sides copies, COPR, Language certificate, protected person Doc status copy as IDs every id and explained Y i dont have passport.
5.Applied as single so no baggage.
but still no AOR, so i think they first open Courrier mails for Dartmouth address, majority of also who got AOR are from Calgary & Vancouver so CIC might hate Ontario & Quebec applicants.
according to Google spreedsheet and forum replies on this site its proof they CIC like people who applied from calgary and vancouver and want them to feel welcomed for quick intergration.
I've seen some folks mention that name here.did anyone's application got recieved by laurendo ??
I don’t why is important to know the name of front door security guard?I've seen some folks mention that name here.
lol I guess some people are worried their application was delivered to the wrong address and some psychopath accepted it.I don’t why is important to know the name of front door security guard?
Very unlikely, especially in a city of 30,000 like NS where CIC is probably one of Canada Post's biggest customers.lol I guess some people are worried their application was delivered to the wrong address and some psychopath accepted it.
It is very possible that someone is posing as CIC worker and stealing the applications for horrible motives such as .... ok I admit I can’t think of anyI don’t why is important to know the name of front door security guard?
one of us could be posing as a CIC worker to clear a path for our own application, by stealing all others. It is very possible that someone is posing as CIC worker and stealing the applications for horrible motives such as .... ok I admit I can’t think of any
I will suggest you call IRCC and explain your situation to them for wise counsel on such daily shuttles between Canada and USA.Hello all
Its great to see how this group is helping each other. I have a question as well which I don't think has been addressed before.
My eligibility period is 2012/11-2017/11. I have been commuting daily from Windsor (Canada) and to Detroit (USA) for work since March 2014. Physical presence residency calculator asks to declare all same day trips back and forth to Canada ( Resulting in 0 day outside Canada). I see this topic addressed for couple of commutes in this thread but not when you are going back and forth 5 out of 7 days a week for 4 years.
Can you please share your thoughts and advise how should I enter these daily commutes for work. Should I do it for 5 days a week and start over again after weekend. I hope since every daily commute results on 0 days outside Canada I don't have to get PCC for Michigan.
Will appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
According to a telephone agent at IRCC I called, a day out of Canada does in fact count as a day of presence in Canada so long as one returns toHello all

Thank you for sharing your experienceAccording to a telephone agent at IRCC I called, a day out of Canada does in fact count as a day of presence in Canada so long as one returns to
Canada before midnight. The same applies to the PCC requirement. They further advised that each partial day outside Canada does not count toward the 183-day threshold requirement for obtaining a PCC in another country.
I just finished six months of daily commuting to Washington state from BC, returning home to BC each night.
It seemed they expected a separate entry in the calculator for each day of commute. This made sense to me in order to demonstrate that I returned home the same day I left and claim a day of presence in Canada for each of these days.
Yes, it will make for a long physical presence calculation but that is the way it goes.
Thanks, will confirm with them as well.I will suggest you call IRCC and explain your situation to them for wise counsel on such daily shuttles between Canada and USA.
Good luck
