EI is fine. You do need to prove to them how you plan on supporting yourselves without going on government assistance ie...welfareHi everyone.
If I’m currently on EI could that impact me being able to sponsor my spouse? They’ve asked my spouse for his schedule a form but haven’t approved me as a sponsor yet.
What is your timeline? It’s nerveracking, they’ve asked my spouse for additional documents (police certificates) and we’ve received 2 Aor’s but I haven’t received my approval letter.
That’s what I thought too which is why I find it strange they’ve requested schedule A before sponsorship approval.Okay if all is good you should be receiving sponsor approval sometime this month or next month.
Normally i think (not 100 percent sure) but i think SA comes before request of sch A and such for the principal applicant.
I no more about inland than outland.
Ya. What does ecas say for you? That’s what I thought too which is why I find it strange they’ve requested schedule A before sponsorship approval.
Okay then decision made under sponsor side is usually sponsor approval. The letter might come in a few days. Since they are asking ur spouse for documents then it looks like a positive decision. So Congrats on that.It says decision made
Okay ya lets hope. Where are you applying from outland? What country?Let’s hope so. At this point I feel like it could go either way, just from reading this forum I’ve learned that everyones situation is different. The decision seems like it was made very soon, literally the day after they sent me AOR email. Strange.
