October applicants with AOR, can you check app online? Help

Hi,

I applied on 11 Oct 2017 and my Application received on 13 Oct 2017.

I see many applicants on this forum we applied same day received AOR Which I am glad for you.

my question is are you able to check Online Status now with AOR? what you check with UCI Format 0000-0000 or PR Card number?
or do you have to wait for ECAS status to check online?

Also, if you get AOR does that mean your application wont be returned if you think you messed up working dates?

I think I messed up work history like many people on this forum and totally sleepless since 12 Oct 2017, I am tired of this situation.

You can only check ECAS (online) after you get the AOR email (ECAS typically updates within 24 hours after you get the email). The AOR email comes with a file number whihc you can use to retrieve your record on ECAS. You can also use the UCI (format xxxxxxxx, no hyphen).

Getting AOR simply means basic completeness checks for missing signatures, dates, unanswered questions, missing documents were done. An application does not get returned for incompleteness after AOR. Once your application is in process at your local processing center, then they will run background and eligibility checks.

My application was delivered on the 13th as well, no AOR yet. On average it takes 30-35 days from delivery date. We should get it soon. Nothing to worry about
