Passports to CPC Ottawa- Oct 2017

I have decided to send an email since it's been over 3 weeks that they've received my passport. They replied in a few hours (which is pretty fast):

"Good day,


Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly. We are currently experiencing a high volume of mail intake and we cannot confirm how long this process will take.


Should you wish to travel urgently and recover your passport, please send us a detailed explanation of your situation along with proof that you require your passport urgently (a copy of your confirmed itinerary) and your request will be reviewed."

Passport Sent Date: Oct 20
Courier Passport Delivered Date: Oct 24
Passport Received by Office: Nov 1St
My CIC Approved Date: Nov 2 (I got an email back from CIC this morning saying it was approved and the passport will be sent back shortly)
Return Tracker Activated Date: Waiting (Hopefully today)
PP and COPR received: Waiting

If you are a CEC applicant, you don't require proof of fund. However, you might need to show proof of fund while landing if you are FSW (both inland or outland) applicant.

Take the same statements you uploaded to CIC with recent pay stabs.

You should be fine.

And did you receive an email from visa office about the approval?

ITA is not relevant to you because you are paper-based PNP. ITA (invitation to apply) is for EE-based applicants only.
