You should mention it. Surname change is a common thing. It will not change your UCI #.Perfect.
I have a UCI number on my VISIT Visa letter. It is of 8 digits (but with no hyphen). I can quote this number in my EE profile. Just another question, do I need to give the UCI number of my wife (which is originally for the old passport) in the EE profile in which I have mentioned the new particulars (new passport). Does it make much difference.
Study permit was rejected because the visa officer felt that she won't leave the country after her education. With PR that is the caseDo you have a reason to believe PR will be approved when study permit wasn't?
Does the medical depend on country? It's valid for a year boss. So no need for a new one. The down side is that you will have to land by July so it may be worth considering getting new meds done.

If you are claiming points from previous employments you need to get the reference letters.Does everyone need the employment verification letters? Should I be contacting my former employers now, or is it possible I won't need one? Also, does my husband need them if I am the primary applicant?
No they don't. Perhaps they depend on the purpose. The ones for WP and for PR applications are valid for 1 year.Does the medical depend on country?
The one with I got is only valid for 6 months.
Got it from india
Husband's are required only if experience is in Canada and points are being claimed for that experience, otherwise there is no need.If you are claiming points from previous employments you need to get the reference letters.
Same goes for your husband
Interesting. No they don't. Perhaps they depend on the purpose. The ones for WP and for PR applications are valid for 1 year.
No, the last part is inaccurate. Only the primary applicant requires reference letters. If the spouse does not have Canadian experience they don't get any points so their experiences just goes into personal history where no evidence is required. If you are claiming points from previous employments you need to get the reference letters.
Same goes for your husband
Mmmmm, interesting indeed.Interesting.
I inquired and came to know that the medical done for tourist visa is also valid for PR and they cost the same.
Donot know why the validity will be different
