KVO sent us an interview date of Nov 15. - we are so excited
His daughter's mom however, no longer wishes to have her daughter on the application.... therefore he will never be able to future sponsor her
Anyone else go through this?

I assume you already had the medical/pics done since you have an interview date? Was his daughter listed as an accompanying or non-accompanying dependent? If non-accompanying, I would just leave it as is... so if in the future when she's old enough to make her own choice, she still can... Not sure about if she was an accompanying dependent though. Maybe your husband can ask the interviewer about what options are there? So sad of the mother to do that though Hopefully it all works out for everyone involved.

From what I have read, it varies could be 15 minutes to over one hour. Depends how many questions they ask and how often the spouse elaborates on the answers.
