I know many friends, who got FT in May09/2017, but still no MR.

how you guys got the PNP. as one of their requirements if having a job offer.

Anyone applied gcms these days? It took 34 days but I haven't got the response from CIC. I wrote status request 2 days ago but no reply either.

Any same situation?

Anyone received pre-arrival services or BGIP (background check changed into In Process)?

My friend whose FT is 13 May got pre-arrival service email this morning and when she checks gckey account, her background check changes into In Process.

My FT is 09 May but I haven't got email and my background check havent changed either.

My FT is May 12 and still now, nothing new!
I think the reason might be relating to the visit of Canada prime minister in APEC this month. Or due to quota of visa has reached for this year then they have to stop issueing new visa. However, they will start soon becoz new batch can be continue in the next 2 months when new quota is set.

As member of Foreign Affair, I think High commission of canada have to participate in visit preparation. Therefore SGVO and Canada Embassy officers have to be very busy this time for the APEC
