Anyone has problems with TRV from Los Angeles

My friends and I applied at the end of September. One (applied on Sep27) was already been requested her passport. And another couple (they applied together) applied after me on Oct2 but were also been requested their passport. But my application applied on Sep29 is still processing. How would that be?

Each application is different, and there is no reason to think they can be compared.

We're all students from the same university and same program and will be attending the same 5-days conference with proof of registration document.

Anyways, do they have any means of emergency contact in addition to the that robot IRCC webform?

Not really... thus it would be hard to convince them your case is an emergency.

You can try calling them, but the most you can get is an ear to complain to, little more.
