Appropriate NOC Code

Hi guys,

I need a clarification regarding my NOC. I work as a Market Risk Analyst for a bank and I am torn between choosing NOC 1112 or NOC 4162 in my Express Entry profile. My major responsibilities include:

• Analysis of risk inherent in trading portfolios using the Value-at-Risk measure.
• Monitoring of FX rates, interest rate movement and market intelligence reporting.
• Monitoring of trading limits as approved by management and escalation of breaches when they occur.
• Mark-to-Market (MTM) valuation of trading portfolios (debt instruments), including derivative transactions.
• Preparation of Market Risk report for the Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO), and
• Monitoring of back-testing exceptions.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, which qualifies me to hold this position in the country where I reside. Guidance is urgently needed.

I think it'll be better if you ask someone from your own office or some senior and experienced person from your line of work. They can provide much better analysis than anyone else.

I did the same for my wife's NOC and it helped us greatly.
