My Friends I don't have an answer to that, I found the post on IRCC facebook page and put it here so that it helps people to decide what to put or what the IRCC says in written on their FB page..
If you don't want to list the addresses its totally upto you.. my knowledge is limited only to written logical evidence :)

Could you actually post the screenshot including the question? I've been trying to find it on Facebook but without success. I am asking because it seems that they are replying to several questions by that user named Swati. So the last sentence might not even refer to question 10a) at all.
I will provide a screenshot, I am unable to do that right now from office,
its on the 11th October post saying effective today, it doesn't have many replies, the poster is Kiran Deep and CIC replied in comments
it would be great if you could take a screenshot

Yep...
Residence remains the same when on vacation, you still pay the rent, bills etc.

Vacation is time away and not a residence change.

Vacations or trips go on the travel history.

Residence will continue from the date you moved in that place, till you move out.

To all of you that like complicating things by adding data that you weren't asked for(clearly).
please read the below experience and decide for yourself :

It never saves time, my PR application went from 12 months to 26 because I sent papers they didnt ask for... Immigration is never gonna trust what you say, thats why they ask permission to request info from CRA, CBSA and RCMP, what they want to know, they will ask themselves... how can the officer be sure that you didnt furgered those documents...? Its a matter of common sense guys, just read the guide, answer what you are asked for and restrain from making out forms and sending documents that are not asked for, wait until they actually read your application and ask you for what they need if they need anything at all....
I just dont understand the willing on some people to complicate such simple paperwork... plus, all that people that send stupid amount of unasked documents just make their process and everyone elses slower because officer need to spend more time trying to make sense of all those documents...

Also, if you really want an answer go check in areas where they actually got the AOR (September applicants) and ask if any of them mentioned vacation addresses. if not then you got your answer...(ill assume its the same before and post c6)

I am guessing that some of them take 6 months of "vacation" and is wondering what they should put in the forms.
Normally, vacations are in weeks or may be a month or 2...

Even if you do take a 6 month vacation, you are a permanent resident of Canada with your residency address in Canada.

I was in Asia for all of September (part work park vacation) during which I stayed at 6 different hotels in 3 different countries and went trekking in Nepal where I stayed at 15 different lodges in the Himalayas. OP, Imagine how ridiculous it would be if I listed all those places in that table?

I just read the form it does not want vacation addresses only work and residence. Some guy says his lawyer told him to list it so that's probably also where folks are getting this info. But the form seems clear to me. But think of it this way, pre-PR, unless you had a work or other type visa, you were on vacation/visiting here. Not residing. Until you had 'permanent residence', you weren't residing/living here. Over and over folks on here said, tell them you are visiting, not residing. It was almost a mantra. Your legal, residence address was whatever it was in your home country. My legal permanent address was in the US for example, I did not have the right to reside in Canada so I didn't claim it as such. From my understanding, that applies here too. It says 'if you were residing, working or attending school outside Canada during this time, you must list your foreign addresses' so no it's not requesting vacation addresses. Vacationing/visiting is not the same as residing. Just my two cents. Someone can correct me. That way I do mine properly

Yes, entire eligibility period regardless of when you landed as PR.
Thankyou and do i have to mention in the physical calculator as well? Since before 2014, i never came to canada. So how can i mention that in my online physical calculator because asks it when you left canada?

I think I would just list the dates you were in Canada. They will check anyway. From my understanding, I'd list the others as absences. As, though it was part of that period, you weren't physically in Canada but they want to where you were. That's my take on it anyway. As I understood. They basically want to give people a chance to claim pre-PR time in Canada and that's how they seem to go about it.
