Yes... I am getting the emails saying, " You have a new message in your account for app # ____ " in my inbox, and when I login to my GCKEY, I have all these requests in there.

ok thank you & goodluck- I think all your efforts are done you just have to sit and wait for them to process the app.

Hi ,For those who called and got through to CIC what was it you actually said once they answered ? It seems they are asking for application numbers on hand before they put you in a queue to speak to someone, regarding proccessing of your app ,so don't know what to do . Im worried about annoying someone and calling too soon iff i say i dont have one yet .?.its been over 40 days though

Wait the full two months. It's taking that long for a number of people. If you pass two, I would call. I used to get through by hitting 2,1,1,0...not sure if that still works, though

If you use the shortcut 2-1-1-0 you can get through to an agent without having to key in any application number or anything. Then, if you get in the queue hopefully you can get some info based on personal details rather than an application number. 40 days seems like a reasonable time to call, and the agent shouldn't get annoyed; this is their job! It might be hard to get through at this hour with out the old "we are experience a high volume of calls and cannot connect you..." message. I've had pretty good success calling right at 8 a.m. local time. I got through this morning, for example at 8 am.

Try calling them @ 8 a.m EST, it will take about half an hour to reach agent...

I have a question, I checked my ECAS (Sponsor) and on the Sponsorship Application Status says Decision Made. Does that mean I got approved to sponsor my spouse or is there a chance that I could also been rejected?
