Q10a. I went to one moth vacation/holiday during my eligibility period


So my question should i write the address in Q10a . I stayed ( I stayed my back bone address )


It is also so confusing Q9c: During my eligibility period I went only one vacation for one moth, so Q9c should i write no or yes.

Vacation means not residing. Both 10a and 9c refer to residing/living somewhere. So vacations are not relevant.

Note: Of course you must list all your vacations in the physical presence calculator.

So you mean Q9c I should say NO
and Q10a I should write my back home address where i stayed one month as a vacation.

9c is No for like 99% of people on here.

For 10a, write your home address in Canada for the time that you were on vacation. The vacation is pretty much irrelevant to questions 9, 10a and 11. It is only relevant in the physical presence calculator.

You are wrong. Click the help-button in the form. There it says to list all the addresses where you LIVED and it says "If you were residing, employed or attending school outside Canada you must list all your foreign addresses". Being on vacation is neither of these cases. You don't list vacation addresses.

He is not wrong,You are.If other people are wrong it doesn't make it right. Why are you guys complicating things that are very straight forward?
There is not even ONE requirement where they ask you to list the address of your vacation. The main keyword is "lived" not "lived and vacationed".
"Resident is defined as living somewhere on a long-term basis or working somewhere in-house."
Even for the calculator there is no requirement to write down the addresses as it makes not sense and will not benefit them what so ever.
If you want to make your life harder go ahead but sometimes common sense can help.

It is NOT my opinion if I directly quote the instructions from the application form.

Yes, you shouldn't leave any gap. But even if you were in Vacation in Puerto Rico, you still lived at your Canadian address. Just because you left your house for some days doesn't mean you don't live there anymore.

Again, the application form gives an explicit list of cases when the address should be mentioned here and it doesn't list vacations.

It is also not true that most people say you should write vacation addresses. Please do a forum search and you will see that the vast majority says not to list vacation addresses. But again, this is a mute point. I am directly quoting the application form here.

Thanks for sharing that message of IRCC. However (and now, by the way, we reach the realm of opinions), I trust the application guide and the form more than the IRCC facebook account. It has been reported before in this forum that call centre agents and the social media people of IRCC give contradicting information, depending when and who you ask. The form and the instruction guide don't refer to vacations, so I am going to go with that. It doesn't even make sense to list vacation addresses. I am sure I am not the only one who did a road trip at some point. If I am driving around the US in a car, how could I even list an address? If I sleep at a backcountry campsite in a US national park, how could I even list an address? That's often unincorporated territory and doesn't even have an address. If I am in transit at several airports for more than one day, how could I list an address?

Could you actually post the screenshot including the question? I've been trying to find it on Facebook but without success. I am asking because it seems that they are replying to several questions by that user named Swati. So the last sentence might not even refer to question 10a) at all.

That's rubbish coming from the social media "consultant"! I trust what's written on the form and the guide. Customer service agent does not have the legal obligation to provide (accurate) information regarding processing and application verbiage.
