They will ask you to renew your passport and send the new passport with the validity more than 6 months. So it is better you change your passport a head.
That is exactly what happened to me!

Not yet, I applied in May, Ibpassed the medical examans and they they're working on y BG check. They have not asked me a new passport but it will expire in 3 months... that's why I wonder if should renew it....

No! I did not get PPR yet, and badly waiting for that.
They asked me 20 days ago and I submitted that the day after they asked! but nothing after that, I don't know when exactly they ask for that!

Hey guys,

As promised, I got my GCMS notes yesterday. Unfortunately nothing has started yet as of the date it was generated which was September 26. The only thing cleared is Medicals. On the other hand I noticed officer wrote on AUg 16 : "CEC parked case due to the following missing documents. Other batch sent ". They never asked for any documents so I have no idea what this means. ..any thoughts?

Finally background check moved from Not started to In Progress last week. Took them almost 3 months to move my application forward ( Passed my medical in first week of Aug)

Does that mean they will take another 2 months to approve my application ?? Any suggestions ??

You are in IP2..PPR should come this week. IP2 is fast except if chosen for security screening from what I heard. .

Raise cse and ask what they need. Can you also share more info about your criminality eligibility? It may be hidden there

No it just said "missing documents, other batch sent". So I think they didn't proceed with my batch due to that...

IRCC asked for it right after I passed my medicals so I requested it and submitted it within 2 weeks.

Do you guys know if RCMP Criminal Record Check request always puts you through security screening? I'm afraid my application isn't getting processed any time soon because of that.

I don't think if should delay your case, if anything it should move faster since you submitted it upfront
