So, my passport is back today with visa. But there is no update on my MyCic account. May be my wife's visa has not issued yet. That's why. Thanks a lot guys.

Passport sent on October 02, 2017
Passport received on October 03, 2017 by CIC
did not noted the tracking number so could not check further update.
Passport back with visa on October 24, 2017.
Wife submitted her passport on October 19, 2017 at Singapore visa office.
Waiting for wife's passport to be back.

I am so frustrated. planned to go to india in Dec. Even bought a ticket. no dm no ppr yet. Temporary resident visa also expired. Now i am applying to renew it because i have no hopes of ppr. Anybody knows how many days to get a new temporary visa on passport.

Hi Ramone1, The request you got was it a reminder letter asking for updated Sch A, PCC, etc or just sch a outlining specific gaps in Sch a form. I am having a hard time understanding how soon to expect MR.

Cic Site gives 115 days for online visitor extension application. How did you get 20 days?

All the people complaining about not being able to travel while waiting for PPR. If you have valid WP and Trv you can tavel and if you get PPR theres 60 days time to send passport for PR.

Not even a single update for May applicants from a week, I guess. No PPR on last Friday.
To be honest I am losing patience. I think this wait is effecting all of us. Any hope for PPR for May applicants at least in Nov? May 24 applicant here,

All the people complaining about not being able to travel while waiting for PPR. If you have valid WP and Trv you can tavel and if you get PPR theres 60 days time to send passport for PR.

The reason most of us are complaining is because out WP has/will soon expire and getting a new one takes about 80 days. No way we can get it before Christmas if we apply for one now.

May be we hear something by the end of nov . I hope to see any progress before Christmas holidays otherwise now I think I won’t be able to survive . It’s been too long m away from family
