Getting married after PR visa

Hi..
I received my PR visa today which is valid till August 2018..
I am planning to get married in jan or feb 2018 in India. My fiancé is already in Canada (currently on work permit )and has already applied for his PR (cleared medicals). I am confused about the landing in Canada. Whether i should land before marriage or after ? Coz if i get married in jan.. i need to inform cic about the same. And the addition of my fiance to my profile would take some time. So m in a strong dilemma as to how should i proceed..

If you land before getting married - there's nothing you have do to. If you get married first - you'll need to return your PR visa, notify CIC that you've gotten married and add your new spouse to your application (including medical and PCCs).

they'll have to process your application, check your spouse's medical do the background check etc... so it's not a couple of days thing

2-3 months minimum - quite possibly longer.
