Is it required to attach utility bills for the eligibility period as proof that you had occupied that address or is it ok to send just few of them.

Is NOT required to send utility bills.
Just stick with the documents required on the Checklist and the Instruction Guide.

Do not send bills and stuff. It is going to make the officer quite upset lol if he has to go through 3 years of utility bills.

Where in the application did you see IRCC referring to utility bills? I'm really curious

Nowhere, that's why I wrote Is NOT required to send utility bills and to stick with the documents required on the Checklist and the Instruction Guide.
There's no need to over-complicate things for us and the officers.
