That’s what I was thinking in last November . M so regretting now .

Today talked to cic agent , he said officers cannot hold your file after mid of February ,22 months are deadline for the officers to give the decision so if u don’t here anything by then Call us we definitely give you decision.
In conclusion, if I apply for express entry now it may take 6 month or less or more , and extra money as well .. so may be m not going for that option .

Now where is their family re-unite?? My younger brother and father is alone at home waiting me everyday. Asking me when you will come?? Don't know what to say to my little brother. Totally upset after mom's death. I am schedule for marriage in early DEC. Have to cancel marriage , Ticket and all preparations in India that was already done. Have to cancel holidays from job, have to postpone further study plans. Totally frustrating

But some people are getting in one month. Thing is that express can delay this application too. Because after receiving they will ask us to withdraw one file

So we r stuck cannot go either way

Yah that’s what agent said , 16 months are like minimum and for officers they have to make decision on file in 22 months

Early On this forum someone was saying GCMS notes are delaying our files. Don't know what is truth..

You don't have to withdraw your file until decision is made. Once the decision is made then you can withdraw the file which is still pending for the decision.
I already applied for express entry on oct2/2017. My medical a got passed for express entry with in 2 weeks

Yes i have 2 files in process now. I already checked with CIC agent before applying through express entry also.

But do you know what is the problem in first file?? why they hold this?? Or they will treat both files separate??

The agent said there is no problem with previous file. She gave me the same answer as everybody else got." Waiting for final review". I can' t take my chances to wait for another couple of months as i have already passed 17 months. So i just applied through express entry as my friends did and everybody got their PR in max 4 months

"To me agent telling background passed. Everything appears to be in order." What should I think about my file?

Its totally upto you. The only reason i applied is that agent told me you might get decision made in november or it might be done by Feb. But through express entry so far what i have seen is that they take max 4-6 months. Atleast you have some gurantee that your file will be processed with in this period.

Just quick question, can we use same medical in express entry the one we use in federal and how much are fees and everything
