How many months before can i travel to canada

Hi!
I got my visa approved in September but due to some college issues I didnot fly in September but now i got a new offer letter..
Now my colleges are starting from jan 3rd so how many days before can i travel to canada as i have my visa and letter..
Plz give any reference link's to cic regarding abovee

You can fly anytime after approval but best is a month before start. No questions asked by CBSA officers then.

You can fly two months before. Make sure you can show you have additional funds when you enter Canada to support yourself here before school starts. You cannot start working until your classes begin - so the CBSA officer may ask you to show you have the extra funds to make sure you won't work illegally.
