I want to know something.
After getting the Visa, I want to leave my family Canada and come back India alone. I will go back Canada a few months later.
Is it possible?

So in this scenario you have to carry your PR card when you go back.......

As ur family would be in Canada and will receive your PR card,so if some of your known come to India(that person can carry ur PR card) and only then you able to enter.....otherwise you have to prove the urgency why you came back because the PR Visa provided by NDVO is only valid for single entry.

Yes no issues. But to be honest we had the same plan but practically it didn't work out. So whole family came back. PR cards will be posted by the friend whose address we have given. Hoping for the best till then

PR card can take 2 to 3 months to be delivered .
And yes PR card can be posted to India
The next Alternate option is PRTD that the PR holders can apply to the Canadian Embassy to travel back to Canada in case the PR card is not there

hi guys,
Please I have a question. I applied for pr and I received the aor in aug 08. I’m waiting for the medical request. But my wife is pregnant and she can’t do x ray. So, this could be bad for our application? How they will proceed? We are inland. Thanks

Hii, I think there wont be issue before you take Medical inform doctor for situation. someone told me they do test in some safe environment like they put some safe-plate and do x-ray but I am not sure about this i am informing you based on some group info so ask doc. meanwhile you check the panel-doctor in your city.

Why didn't you leave family in Canada? Didn't you find suitable house for them ? Or security issue?

Its difficult to stay with kids in winter without a car. You can't walk to the nearby grocery even when iit's -20° outside. And moreover we plan to move permanently later so the kids would have to miss school for almost 2-3 months and then living in short term fully furnished rentals was costing too high. So we decided to come back. The best way is to move permanently at once.
