Hi, is your file is outside Canada to your local VO? It just I called cic and they said they can't tell me anything coz my file is at local VO. Do you think they can share info to the applicant even if the file is at LVO.

my file is in Ottawa but my passports are i my LVO for stamping and they are paranoid about identity verification it's been a month and half to stamp them. hope it ends soon

Most likely you should get your PPR soon, if not then wait for a few weeks before ordering another set of GCMS notes.

@legalfalcon, I called CIC this morning, I was surprised that no updates with my case in the past month.

The agent confirmed what you said, my security check is in process, it's mandatory but she couldn't predict when it will be completed. All I can do is to wait. I find very little input regarding the processing time of security checks on this forum, seems like it's mainly about security screening, could you shed some light on that?
