Sorry for my bad english.
I got married in 2011 and came to canada in 2016. while i was back home i used to live with my in-laws. They were horribly abusive to me. Specially my sister in law. Everyday i had to face verbal abuse from her. She even used to hit me on my face, pull my hair and tell me that one day she will convince my husband to leave me. But she was so nice on my husbands’s face. So my husband always believed her.
Even a couple of time he saw her slapping me. He still blamed me. He said you must have done something wrong thats why she hit you. Otherwise she wouldn’t hurt a fly.
He has even told me if i ever say anything about her, he will leave me. Now she is applying for a visit visa to come here and stay with us for 6 months. I am so afraid of her. I feel everything will repeat itself and she will treat me the same way. The thought of her coming here is giving me nightmares. I haven’t slept for 4 days now. If she comes here and abuses me again. i’ll not be able to involve police beacuse if i do, my husband will leave me. And i dont’t want him to leave me because i dont have anyone else except him. I want to stay with him.
Im so depressed these days. I feel like dying. Right now i feel like i dont have any air to breath. Im just praying she doesnt get her visa :(
Please tell me is there any way i could stop her from getting a visa? Can i request immigration to not issue her visa. I know it sounds stupid, but can i?

No - you cannot ask CIC to not issue her visa. There's really nothing you can do to stop her from applying. She is free to apply for a visitor visa. Doesn't mean she will be approved - but she's entitled to apply.

Your sister-in-law must be able to demonstrate she has really strong reasons to return to her home country. If she states a visit of 6 months and/or is unable to prove she has reasons to return home then her chances of TRV approval are low.

Although it is tough not to relive the memories of the abuses you have suffered in the past, you should wait to see if she will be approved or not. Try not to get depressed or upset in the meanwhile because it won't help you as processing can take several weeks/months for Pakistan applications (I'm assuming she is applying from there).

Also, if she does get a TRV, she might just be on her best behavior when she visits instead of assaulting/abusing you and getting into trouble

Be strong and don't think too much until she is actually approved :):)

dont worry and hope for the best :D
its not necessary that whoever apply for a Canadian visa gets it right a way, she has to prove and give a proper reason for her visit only then she will be approved to enter Canada
and be strong no one can abuse u here. if you feel any abuse or violence call 911
