From the sounds of it it's odd but honestly nothing is really normal about the process
look everyone was advised differently
everyone was asked to bring difference things
I know it's hard and comforting but take comfort that at lest they are in contact with you
I would like to think with what your saying maybe he'll be exempted from the interview

i think your interview might just be waived but they didn't ask for passport. Hmm! they might be asking for these documents then they make a decision if it should be waived or not then you might be asked for passport. KVO is so unpredictable at times.

I have received any interviews date yet... but I went through your interview date and there is a pattern.. all of you received interview date after 5 month and 6 days ...hopefully it continues the same
