They want to know of all the family members you have just in case you initiate any immigration application involving any of them, it will not be a surprise. So if in 3 years you want to sponsor a sibling or parent that you did not disclose to them right now, you'll probably face some issues.Thank you for your update, I already received my ITA.
I have a question because now I am completing the requirements for PR, why they asked me to submit “Family Member Proof of Status” knowing that my parents and sibling all back in the philippines. Do you have any idea what proof they want? Thanks
Thank you for your reply, but the question is about family member proof pf status in canada. So they are all in the philippines and they dont have status im canada, what particular document will I provide. As per instruction proof of status means pr card, work permit, study permit etc in canada. Maybe this refers to any family member who is present in canada and have a legal status? I have an aunt here which I indicated on my ee profile maybe to claim points thats the one they are asking. What do you think? They want to know of all the family members you have just in case you initiate any immigration application involving any of them, it will not be a surprise.
