What are the negetive effects of declining an ITA ?

Hi all,

I have received the ITA in the 74th draw, but I might not be able to submit the document for Proof of Funds in the speculated time. Can anyone let me know if there will any negative effects of declining the ITA ?

No, no negative effects at all. You can decline if you think you cannot submit the required documents within 90 day period from ITA.
Decline the ITA, enter in the pool again and if your CRS score is good as per trends, you will be picked again. Meanwhile arrange all the proper documentation.

is it likely that those with 449 crs might get an opportunity in November or in December this year? a friend is completing his one year of continuous employment work on 17th November. he will have crs 449 after this. what if the draw happens on the same date and score comes out below 449? will he get an ita considering he is completing his one year on the 17th which is Friday

449 is a very good score and as per current trends, your friend has very high chance of an ITA.
Ask your friend to create his EE file as soon as he completes 1 year experience. It sometimes takes 24-48 hours for the file to be updated into the system. So if the ITA comes the exact same day he created the file and the file is no properly updated in the system, he might miss it also. But nothing to worry as his CRS Score is very good, last 2 draws were around CRS 433-435. So even if he misses one draw by chance (very less chances though), he will definitely get into the next one for sure.
Tell him to create EE file, any draw 24 hours after that will be his, as per current trends.

Its no problem, ask him to wait till 17th November and when his 1 year is completed, create the file that same day. The next draw after that he has almost certain chances of an ITA (any draw after 17th november)

one last question

my friend has already got some experience (1 year from past) but friend thinks this might not match the substantial duties of the noc code.

he has already created the profile but he wants to send that work experience to claim points which is completing on 17th November

now he has already created the profile so he is declining itas because his score is currently 449.

now what if she received ita on 17th November based on this past work exp of one year then will she be able to use this new work exp which is completing on 17th November the day the draw happens? will it count as one year
