Hi guys. We’re having a concern since our son was undeclared by my husband. Our expectation is that our application might got refuse due to misrepresentation.
But we just received our GCMS note, stating this on our initial review:

Dependent (name of our son) was not declared. However, as the Principal Applicant is not an excluded family member and Dependent is not being sponsored themselves as members of the family class but rather as an accompanying dependent of a member of the family class, the Dependent is not inadmissible under R117(9)(d). Eligibility passed.”

Guys, what are your thoughts/ understandings about this? Thank you in advance.

Hi! just wondering if the immigration let your undeclared child comes with your wife?
I actually wants to ask you more questions regarding with this because i am planning to married my girl friend next year and i am having concerns about my an undeclared child, i wanted to know if there is a big chance that i can bring my undeclared child here in canada?
When you apply with your papers, did the immigration ask you to write a letter why your dependent child has not been declared?

More info about me:
*I left Philippines 2014 my son was already 3 years old
*Never been married to my girlfried

Please give me advice what to do, thanks!

there is no way to bring undeclared dependents to Canada as a PR. they have to apply on their own. or you can revoke your PR and apply again, this time by declaring all your family members, including your wife (if you decide to get married that is).

if your son is your wife's son. then it's a totally different story. you can sponsor your wife, then she can declare her son as a dependent. they never care who the father is anyway. although they do ask it in the forms, then you can put your own name there. this is for cases where guys didn't know they have kids until later. it would be different if you were a female.
