Please I need help. I received an Invitation To Apply after entering the pool. However, on trying to update information I put down while applying to join the pool, all I see is "view form" which means I am unable to "edit form".

What is the implication of this. It is a bit confusing as I already have an ITA and I wont want conflict of information in what I am writing in my actual application versus what I wrote when I applied to enter the pool.

I decided to stall on attaching all my credentials until I can have same position in both forms (the application I filled to enter the pool before getting an ITA and my current comprehensive application after i was invited to apply)

Please advice!!!

Thanks

you should decline the invitation and edit your profile proper before you receive your next ITA.

You can't update your profile after receiving your ITA. You should and can do that before receiving it.
Now the only way is to either sumbite your documents as per the details you have filled or decline the ITA. If you decline the ITA than may be CIC will take harsh steps against you. I don't know what will they do as I have not heard this type of situation before

IRCC won't take any harsh steps against someone for declining an ITA, BUT...
...We need more information than you've given us. What is the difference that this 'new information' will result in between your EE Profile and your eAPR (your PR application)?

You can't make changes to your Express Entry Profile (the form filled pre-ITA) after receiving an ITA. HOWEVR, you CAN make changes to the eAPR questionnaire (the form filled post-ITA), as long as the change doesn't result in a decrease in your CRS Score that would bring it below the CRS Cut-off for the Draw in which you got the ITA - if the changes result in your CRS Score falling below the threshold, you need to decline the ITA and go back into the EE pool for future consideration. Hence, we need to know what changes you plan to make to assess if it will make your CRS Score decrease.

You can and should definitely go through the eAPR questionnaire and update it with any new or revised information as needed, because, if you submit the application with incorrect information (simply because you were wary of changing what you had there, pre-ITA), you will be held responsible for any inaccuracies if discovered by IRCC.

hi, i face the same situation as well, before ITA, i missed out on mentioning the correct credentials as per ECA and mentioned masters as it was a masters degree i have obtained, but it is bachelors as per ECA. And i also missed out on adding a certain piece of information pre-ITA. I cannot update this form. And it doesn't affect my score right now post-ITA. What should i do ? Decline ITA , wait for another ITA or else can i update my POST ITA forms to reflect new data?

pls guide.

Hey Mate.

I am facing a unique issue.

I had my education credentials mixed up. As my master was evaluated as one year post graduation diploma and I applied it as Masters. Later I wanted change the same. However my profile was stuck in "Processing Update" Status by the time draw came. I received ITA but my status did not show received ITA, it was on application updated.

Since my education credentials were incorrect I declined ITA.

But still my Application form is stuck, Still there nothing visible in actions, nor can I edit my application, it is simply stuck. I have raised technical issue, but no movement helped received so far.

An alternate option that I can think of is to create all together a new profile. But then in that case how will CIC view it, can there be clash or repercussions in applying for express entry having to profile.

Or Since I have declined the invite my application stands withdrawn?
