Hi All,
all the best for tomorow's draw!!
I'am @ 431 since July...somebody pls help me on this
I have stayed in Canada for about 6 months and my wife in UK for about 5 months. Do we need to get PCC from there? Got confused with some other posts.
Please help.

No and no.
You'll be informed if IRCC requires Canadian PCC, no need to submit upfront.
PCC is needed only if your wife stayed in UK for 6 months or more

I have stayed in Canada for more than 6 months..say 6 months 2 days.

You do not need a PCC from Canada, it doesn't matter if you lived there for 6 months, 6 years or 6 decades.

Hi,
Are multiple PCC required from every state that you've lived in considering India?
Or a single PCC obtained from one state/UT is valid across India?

Regards,
Sapra

One PCC obtained from your closest Passport Service Kendra (PSK) should just do fine. Thanks.

Does the PCC obtained from PSK mentions date of stay? For eg if the state that ".... All is fine ..... Staying from Jan 2017 to present". Do I need to get another PCC for different dates ?

If I were you I'd get the UK one for the wife if time allows. I know the official policy says you need one if you stayed in a foreign country for more than 6 months, but a 5-month staying is borderline. Besides it doesn't require a lot of efforts to get one from UK anyway. You just need to submit an online request and pay like 20 pounds.

It’s £45 for Standard Service and £80 for Premium Service- add international courier of £45 as well should you wish to get it shipped.

The Indian PCC don’t specify dates and addresses- as a result, you’re good.

I've recently got a PCC from State Police Department and it mentions dates of stay.. that's why I now have doubts about dates.

I thought we stated earlier too that its the Indian PSK's PCC that is accepted by CIC, and not State Police- get one from your closest PSK.
