Hello friends, I am on a student permit at the moment. I have received my invitation to apply for PR through express entry. I have heard a lot that once I submit my application and the moment I paid the PR fees, I am eligible for work permit. Is it true ? After submitting the application can I apply for work permit ? Because I don't want to waste $35,000 in a university which has no value. Thank you for your help.

Yes, search CIC website for: Bridging Open Work Permit. It is only valid until you get a decision on your PR application.

Just keep in mind that PRs are not guaranteed and you may have to go back to school.

Not guaranteed ? If the profile is clean and clear and the informations are provided correctly then what possibly can go wrong ?

You can only apply for a BOWP if you have a valid work permit and wish to extend it.
