Hello Everyone,
I am a filipino citizen currently working here in Jeddah for 5years. I applied for Visitor visa to Canada with an invitation from my auntie through online. I submitted my application last Sept27, 2017 and up to now I didn't get any email at all or updates in my account.

Can someone tell me if how long usually does it takes to know the result? I dont know whom I can follow up as well.

if anyone who has experienced in applying for Visitor Visa in Canada thru online, would be appreciated if you could share your timeline of your application..

It take take anywhere from a few days to several months for processing to be completed. There's really nothing you can do to follow up. You just have to wait.
 
Hello.. thanks for your reply..i have read on some blogs some timeline takes not more than a month. I was expecting the same too. it maybe depend also on the the country you are applying?.

The country you are applying from can influence processing time. However it's definitely not true that processing is always less than a month. We see many cases here where processing takes several months. Since you are living in a country where you do not have citizenship / permanent residency - you should expect longer processing times.
 
Thanks. I am here on a work permit. I do hope I can get their reply bcoz I am going for my annual vacation on nov6-30,2017 and they will response if every its approved first week of nov, i might not be able to catch it... thanks for your comments.
