Hi there,

Is it just my computer or some issue with CIC website? I'm trying to open up the Citizenship application for adults and it keeps giving me the message that my Adobe needs to be updated. Its updated. Not sure what's wrong. Anyone...any clue?

If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF
viewer may not be able to display this type of document.
You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader for Windows®, Mac, or Linux® by

That's correct. Download the form, save it to your computer, and then open with Adobe pdf reader. Make sure to update Adobe if you haven't done that recently.

Not necessarily, I am able to open it and fill in online in my browser, "Pale Moon"
which browser did you use. I tried in chrome, edge and firefox didn't work.

Try Foxit reader its better than adobe.

I've had the same problem with some of the forms. As others have said, download the form and then open it that way and it'll work fine.

Always gives me a 1 page view of the PDF, with a message on it (don't remember what it was)... you have to download it and open it outside the browser. This is the case on multiple computers and browsers that I've used.

I had this problem as well and it was most frustrating.
The problem is when you download the file it saves it as a web app and tries to open the file using a web browser.
You have to right click on the file after you've downloaded it and select "open with..." then choose adobe acrobat.
