anyone have a old passport number on OWP?

hi

I applied family immigrate with owp on 17th of July.

I have got owp yesterday but my old passport information on owp.

I have sent IRSS web form what I changed new passport and need got 2 years owp but they just gave me old passport information which is expire on march 2018.

I asked them I can stay with that and can work . they said it doesnt matter what passport in there and I need apply new owp again on Dec.

however I really wanna go back my country and I am worried about if I come back canada , is that any problem ??

if yes, can I apply ETA like tourist visa before I come back ??
or

can I get new owp on boarder?

Are you from visa exempt country? OWP doesn't grant you entry to Canada.
btw OWP is for inland application.

Same question. Since you are planning to leave and come back.
You won't be "staying in" canada.

i am little confused about that.

I got 2 weaks holiday and I went my country when I have a close work permit last year . It was no problem when I entered canada airport. even immigration women said I dont need ETA if I have permit .

are thoes different open work permit and close permit when I entered canada ?

just I am worried about my old passport information on my permit. if I take 2 passport , is it any problem or not..
