How do you tell if you were “OB570 streamed” ? I was transferred to Ottawa early on and then transferred back to cpc m
It's hard to say. Nothing in OB570 mentions about going back to CPC-M. They play around with applications' locations all the time to "even-the-load".

You don’t! Use an FBI channeler.
This is what I did. I got my fingerprint. The ink ones. Sent them to the channeler and paid the fee. Then I got them in like two weeks. Some people hear back within a day but idk what channeler they used.

I luckily requested two copies. So if they ask me for my american ones again. I’ll send in the second copy with a note saying “I haven’t returned to the US since receiving these results. So there would be no change to them.. there would be no point.
Yes but I shouldn't have to pay to have it all done again (not to mention cost of fuel to go to the states to have it done) because they fucked off for 7+ months on my application.

Well I’d say use the channeler if you have to. Cause unfortunately it’s government.

Those of us who didn't get transferred and are getting processed at Mississauga got an email telling us that would be the case. Some got the email months after applying (mostly those from earlier in the year), some weeks after.
hi,
I mean Which standard of application is processed at MIS? random or selected?

Another member on this forum recently obtained a document/bulletin from CIC revealing that only "non-complex" applications are being kept in Mississauga. Presumably, this means straightforward applications that they anticipate will likely be approved and won't require very much complicated analysis, extra documentation requests, interviews, etc.although we don't know for sure what the criteria is. I'm also not sure if having dependents has an impact or not - does anyone here who's being processed at CPC-M have dependents?

Im wondering ...in our notes it is said we are eligible for OB570, but we did not receive any notification of being processed in MIssisssauga...should we worry or what. I dont know what to think now.

My ECAS updated today to "Decision Made"

MyCIC has not changed at all.

No e-mails or messages either.
Be prepared to wait. There's a modest group who received their DM on Sept. 1st who have yet to even receive their PPR. Myself and my husband received our DM on Sept. 26th and also have not heard a peep. From the sounds of things, our applications might be in a queue to be sent to Ottawa to have the PPR and CoPR issued. This, from my understanding, is due to the fact that CPC-Mississuaga cannot issue these final documents.

Sounds like a good case for your MP.

A few of those people in the group have reached out to their MPs - doesn't seem like it makes any difference however. If Ottawa is backlogged, it's backlogged. Once we reach the 6 weeks+ waiting point, I'm sure my tune will change though.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ottawa is backlogged because they decided to do Inland and Outland in the same 12 month window.

I wouldn't be surprised either however at the end of the day, the CIC will do what the CIC wants.
After 6 weeks today since ECAS updated with Decision Made, I have reached out to my local MP.
We will see what happens moving forward.
