August 2017 - Common Law Sponsorship inside of Canada

Hi guys, I mailed my common law sponsorship application in Canada on August 16th, Canada Post said my mail was delivered on August 18th. It has been 7 weeks, but I still haven't gotten AOR or any response from CIC. I am FREAKING OUT right now. I read some threads saying AOR takes 6-8 weeks right now. Should I start contacting CIC and try to find out what is going on? How do I get in contact with CIC?

I also include an open work permit application in my pr application. Would it affect the AOR processing time?

It is correct that it can take up to 8 weeks. You can try calling to see if it's been sent back for any reason, but they may just be delayed in issuing AOR...inundated with applications, busy, etc.

Don't be offended or take this the wrong way, but you need to reset your expectations asap. This entire process is almost all comprised of waiting. I respect how hard it is but it requires a metric ton of patience. It will make your life so much easier if you can do your absolute best to minimize that stress.

October 06 Application linked
October 10 Form - Schedule A submitted. But my account still says "your action is required". Do I need to do something about it?

Another quick question: I mailed my OWP application along with my sponsorship application. How long does it usually take to get OWP.
P.s: I am currently on a post graduate OWP.

I was reading some previous threads. People say I can link my OWP application to my account too. I was wondering if there is any tips you can tell me
