Hey... I just kind of summarized everything when I replied, lol. I did get ask for more information twice for the background check with the RCMP and my country of origin. I also got a letter asking to update some things that I cannot remember now. As for now, my background check has changed to not applicable and also in my cic account it says "your action is required" but when I go further it doesn't ask for anything. That was the main reason I called the first time, but they told me that it is just a bit of an issue with their systems and everything is fine. The second time I called because really I believe they are taking too long, but they told me everything was fine with my file and I just have to "wait" (don't know what they mean by that as I have been waiting for 11 months now) until my MR comes.
I will let you know once I get the MR, as for you guys, keep us updated. This wait is killing us all, but it definitely helps to hear about your friends going through the same situation.

Hey Dude, have you tried to call the CIC? I have read in other forums about people that applied in May 2016 for the same program than us and got their MR last June/17. It might be nothing, but I wouldn't take my chances. What would be the difference between "waiting" and waiting too much? you could be waiting for months before finding out there was a document you could have missed? Just a thought, better safer than sorry.

It looks almost identical to my case.
So, don't worry I am on the same boat.
I wont do upfront since it does not accelerate the entire process.
But one concern for me is MR request is delayed these days so it might affect on process time.
Hopefully not.
Anyways, there are nothing we can do for this except waiting!
