1. Download and install the free trial version of Advanced PDF Password Recovery from https://www.elcomsoft.com/apdfpr.html
2. During installation you will be asked for the product key. Just press next.
3. Start the Advanced PDF Password Recovery
4. Drag and drop CIT 0002 pdf to program dashboard, or use Encrypted PDF file box
5. Password Recovery will immediately replied that the user password is empty and instant decryption is possible
6. Click yes and save the decryption printable file.
7. Open it in Adobe reader and print it.

I don't mean to be annoying but just a small warning that its illegal to remove PDF security settings on files you do not own. Probably will be fine in this case since there is no trace on printed papers but just to let you know.

They are still updating the forms - I am sure people will be paranoid enough to get rid of the de-secured file and fill the new form when it is uploaded, no need to get through all the trouble of downloading another software just for this

I agree. I've used this to print a copy for checking but I'm going to wait until the new form is released before a final print and send.

This is a great way to get your application refused. Wait until they update the application, they might change stuff in it. Don't give this advice.

security risk. Downloading a pdf from a stranger over the internet is risking malware and hijack.

I dont think they have grounds to reject an officially posted form. But still, wait and see is best.

So let me get this straight ! You're telling us how to bypass security on a government provided document ? The same government you're tying to get the citizenship from ? WOW !

Get a grip. The security only relates to the print function and it was an error. Everyone calm down and wait for the new form.

If they've admitted there is an issue with their form (which they have) and then they change the form and you submitted based on a form that you couldn't have submitted without bypassing the security on, they could definitely reject your application.

Thank you forum members for expressing your opinion on using the government provided forms. I agree with some, and disagree with others.

Flood gates opened earlier today, tsunami emerged, and I want to ride that wave - in front. You saw other posts on this forum today:
- troubles with access to the presence calculator
- troubles with access to the application forms
- troubles with access to the on-line payment
- troubles with access to the phone support

IMHO, applications at CPC Sydney are processed as first come, first served, so minor delay in sending your application nowadays can result in major delays at IRCC over the next months.
