I very much tried all available options in there! In another 20 days it will be 61 days since I landed. Wondering what's going on!
Had the same situation. Tried all UCI, DOB etc combinations, nothing worked out. Kept trying it every few days, finally I linked it on the last week of September! Landed on 7th June 2017.

So you did not get your PR card within the normal 61 days period? June 7th to last week of September is more than 3 months! :(

No. Landed on 7th June 2017. Photo request on 2nd Aug 2017 and photo received by CIC on 10th Aug 2017. And still clueless about my current status.

Very frustrating .. I had my photos taken by a professional photographer and made sure all specifications were met! It is unbelievable. Now losing all employment opportunities, because of this damn thing. It is so ironic but now I just wish I was on a work permit! Sorry about the rant.

Hi. Can understand your frustrations. I was told that the signed COPR is as good a proof as the PR card. Is that not the case?

Timeline: Landed July 27
Photo Re-Do request: Sept 22
Photo Received by CIC: Sept 28

Called CIC today and they re-quoted that they are looking at resubmitted photos from July 27th. They said that if photo is asked again, it puts you in a separate queue that can take an additional 2 months or so.. :(

Link my PR Card application: Oct 4

Since I link my application late (just last Oct 4), will I still be able to see/read previous emails/correspondence they sent in regards to my PR card application?

Thank you.

Yeah, I believe COPR is as good as the PR card, just that you can't usedit to travel in and out of Canada. But as job opportunity, I believe can start looking for job, and use the COPR in applying for SIN.

Thank you.

Since I cannot travel, I have difficulties in convincing an employer to hire me!

Do you guys any idea why they are asking Photo again? is your photo taken date is more than 6 month? Did you submitted same photo for COPR and PR?

Basically if you want to track your PR card after completing the landing process you will need to go to your MyCIC account and there will be an option there after you sign in. Choose link your application and choose PR card. You will need to fill in some info for it to search for it. Usually the one that works in using the UCI and Last name. Fill it it according to your COPR. If all matches up you then get updates on your MyCIC re your PR card process. From my experience it started off as saying submitted and then when the PR cards were approved it just changed to approved. An email was sent to me the day after to check MyCIC. Hope that helps.

Also it would be a good idea to call CIC and check with them when it's closer to the 61 day mark to ensure there's no outstanding status on your file.
