So I have a 3 year old daughter. When scheduling for the exams the nurse asked what kind of exams will you do? Work, Study, Visitor? After much search I came to the conclusion that none were correct. It seems that these clinics have no idea of what EE or PR is for that matter. It was like I was speaking a different language when I mentioned it. So I've learned it should be Non-EDE worker type, and the nurse seemed to except that. Then she asked, and what would be the type for your daughter? I HAVE NO IDEIA. SEARCHED EVERYWHERE! Please help!

Wow thanks for the quick reply. Great. That's comforting. And how old was your daughter at the time, if I might ask.

Just over a year. It was just a quick physical and some developmental milestone questions. The hardest part was getting her to look at the camera for her photo!

So I sent an email clarifying that my daughter's medical exam type should be non-Ede WORKER and the nurse responded: that is impossible. Is she going there to work? It has to be as STUDENT or VISITOR!

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!

I would reply "She will be a dependent on a worker visa, therefore she needs the exam classified as such. I have verified that this is correct."

It's not like a toddler is a student or visitor either, anyway!

It doesn't matter how they class your daughters medical. It will be processed exactly the same by IRCC anyways.

my 2-year-old daughter also did NON-EDE Worker exam and our application was approved two months ago. so don't worry. It's a name for the process.

Old but very recent to me. I'm also from Brazil and I'm dealing with the same thing.
However, we can find any other option but visit or study categories.
Any ideas?
