Hi, I have a bit of a complicated situation and was wondering if you could help me out.

I am a Pakistani student who had come to Canada in 2012, and successfully completed a 2 Year Accounting Diploma from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. I graduated in the beginning of 2015, and successfully got my Post Grad Work-Permit. However, due to certain family reasons I had to come back home and my PGWP expired.

During this time home I was able to complete my BSc in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University in the UK, so that would make me eligible to apply for a Masters program in Canada.

I am aware that even if I graduate, I will not get a PGWP for the second time, however I heard that if you complete a Masters level qualification, you are directly eligible for PR. Is that still true?

Warm Regards,
Thanks

Some provincial nominee programs allow you to apply for PR after completing a Masters. However there are limited spaces in some cases and the programs can fill up quickly. So nothing is ever a guarantee. You'll need to research the provincial programs to understand what the requirements are and how many applicants are accepted.

Hi, I'm thinking to apply for MUN in Newfoundlands. They have, apparently 442 seats available.

If I were to take my chance, would my previous PGWP issuance, or my previous studies in Canada be detrimental to my application?
