Hi, I have a bit of a complicated situation and was wondering if you could help me out.
I am a Pakistani student who had come to Canada in 2012, and successfully completed a 2 Year Accounting Diploma from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. I graduated in the beginning of 2015, and successfully got my Post Grad Work-Permit. However, due to certain family reasons I had to come back home and my PGWP expired.
During this time home I was able to complete my BSc in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University in the UK, so that would make me eligible to apply for a Masters program in Canada.
I am aware that even if I graduate, I will not get a PGWP for the second time, however I heard that if you complete a Masters level qualification, you are directly eligible for PR. Is that still true?
Warm Regards,
Thanks
