Visitors visa to canada

Hi,

My query is that I am getting married in this month after 17th October. Me and my fiance has decided to move to Canada as he has got work permit for Canada B.C.
Issue is that it would not be possible to get Spouse visa this early. That's why we want visitor visa so that I could accompany him.
Pls let me know how can I get a visitor visa as I m unemployed.
Wat document so I need? We are opting for an Arya samaj wedding which is completely legal but would get the certificate only after marriage.

Well remember the visitor visa is just that a visa to visit Canada for a short trip. What you need to ask yourself is what proof can you provide that you would leave Canada after a short trip.

What abt TRV that we get for 6months? Is it different from Visitors visa?

No difference you need to prove your ties to your home country. Show while you will leave at the end of what is usually a short First trip.

Unfortunately the reality is it will be very hard to get a visa when you are unemployed and your husband is in Canada and he supports you 100%

M sry to bother. I am currently working but was planning to leave the job. Wat if I dnt leave the job and ask for holiday, then for how long can I get a visitor visa or TRV?

Agreed.

Your chances of a TRV approval are low if you're unemployed or even if you take considerable time off from work. IRCC will have concerns that you are trying to live in Canada on a TRV (visitor visa) as your fiance/future spouse has a WP.

BTW you cannot apply as his spouse until you get a marriage certificate which is recognized in the court of law.


Do you own land or property (not property owned by your family or your fiance's family)?
Have you traveled on short visits to countries like the US, UK, Schengen, Australia/NZ?
Are your parents or unmarried siblings (if you have) dependent on you? If yes, can you prove this?
Do you have a strong financial situation without borrowing or depending on anyone?
