Can I change Job/Employer during my PR process?

My PR is in process and it has been 9 months now. I have applied under Canadian experience class. My current work permit is tied to my current employer, so a new company offered me a job and they said they will be getting me a new work permit. The Noc code will be different but it's still within the same industry.
So my question is, will that screw my PR and am gonna have to start over? Or I will just need to send CIC my new employment letter and thats it?

Did you claim points for arranged employment? If you did not claim then no issues.

Yes I did. But I just think that I still shouldn't lose the points since am going to have another arrangement employment with 1 year contract and all
So you claimed points based on LMIA or because you had completed 1 year experience under closed work permit?

You can claim arranged employment points (50 points) in the following 2 ways:

1) LMIA - If you claimed points for LMIA, you will have to inform CIC after getting new LMIA approved.

2) without LMIA - arranged employment from canadian employer with whom you have already worked for 1 year . If this is the case, Your case may be tricky. Your offer of employment should be from the employer whom you are already working for. Atleast that is what is stated in CIC website.

I have actually claimed points from both. working for a year and also for having an arranged employment. I just claimed 30 points for the arranged employment though, i didn't get the 600 points for the LMIA because the changed the law by the time I applied.

There is 50 points for arranged employment. I was referring to that. (Not the points that you gain for Canadian work experience.)

So you got 50 points for LMIA. You will have to Inform CIC. Because they should enquire with correct employer to verify your arranged employment.

sorry I didnt see this. Actually I am number 2. I am LMIA exempt because It was an intra-transfer contract. So I didn't need to get LMIA, so I guess now its kinda risky to change the employer giving that i have been waiting for 9 months already now for my PR.
