Hello everyone,

I need some help regarding the return shipping label.

I got PPR on September 1st, and CPC Ottawa received my passport on Sept 7th vie Fedex. I included the return shipping envelop and shipping label in the package. Today I got an email from CPC.

Dear applicant,

Your documents are finalized and ready to be sent to you. We have received your return courier envelope with the shipping label attached, however the label will not be accepted at the Customs border. We require three copies of your shipping label. Also, if you have the commercial invoice that was provided with your shipping label from FedEx, please e- mail it to us. We can then proceed with shipping your documents.

I am not sure what this means. Do I need to provide them with 3 copies of the shipping label along with the receipt? I created the return label on Fedex website. What should I do now?

Thank you for your help.

Just an update on my case. I went to the Fedex local store and got the commercial invoice from the staff. I emailed the electronic invoice along with the original return shipping label to CPC. I did not hear from them any more but my return tracker was activated the next day September 28th Thursday. My package was delivered to me on Monday October 2nd.

Hope this helps if other people encounter the same situation.

Thanks to all who take time to lend support to myself and others here on the forum. You are an awesome bunch!
Positive Update on my case:

-FSWO in USA
-AOR June 26th
-2 Additional Docs Requests Aug 8th &18th for PCC and Income Taxes/Bank Statements
-PPR Sept 7th
-Passports received by Ottawa VO Sept 12th
-Application status changed to approved Sept 28th
-UPS return tracker activated Sept 29th
-COPR and Passports received in hand Oct 2nd

It was a long and complex journey for me but it turned out well.

Good luck to all still in the midst of the process!

Guys, this forum is really helpful.

I just have a quick question. If you are not part of 'Provincial Nominee Program', are there any restrictions as to which province you can move to?

For eg - If your application is approved but did not receive a nomination by a province or territory can you move to Vancouver (British Colombia)?

Thanks in advance.

Hello.. quick question: How did you send the invoice and the original return label to CPC? Did you fill it out, scanned it and then emailed the scanned copies to CPC? Thanks in advance for your help.

Friends, I haven't heard anything from CIC, if I call they ask me to patient and say that passport is in print room since last 20 days.
My work permit is expiring on October 21st.
Ottawa IRCC office do landing on Oct 10th and then Oct 24. If I miss Oct 10, I will have expired status when I reach Oct 24.
Also, I don't have US visa to go on a land border. It is so stressful.

PPR Date: 31 Aug
Passport Sent Date: 3 Sep
Courier Passport Delivered Date: 5 Sep
CPC Passport Received by Agent Date: 8 Sep
CPC Approved: Waiting
Return Tracker Activated Date: Waiting...
Passports Received: Waiting

You can always apply for extension if your application is currently in process. It has been a long time for you . They are mostly processing the PP's in 2 weeks from the day it goes to print room. Did you called them and let them know about your work permit.

I did tell them, they sent reminder on September 21st and say that we can send only one reminder.
Applying extension for me and mu husband will cost upto $500. I just want to avoid that, bacause the refund is officer's discretion.

That is true but at the same time you wouldn't want to be out of status . I would recommend you collect the document required for extension but dont submit your application until last day. But yeah it is frustrating to be in your place

Thats seems a right advice.
Thank you.
