Single mom with kids

Hi.
Me and my husband applied for refugee and application rejected .We applied for H&C and still waiting .during this waiting time my relation with my husband broke down because of him being abusive .We are in process of seperation. We have 3 kids .My question is whether my seperation and being a single mom will help my immigration case ?

You see h&c and approvals are low and with the refugee board they will not approve it
