  • Provide applicants landed during Bill C24 ability to chose between the rules(3/5 or 4/6)
  • Lower application fee for those who chose 4/6 rule
  • Higher priority to those who chose 4/6 rule during processing
  • I also wish the prime minister will be there too
This is a moral obligation!

Once 3/5 goes live, it will be illegal to require any applicants to follow 4/6 rule.
You are suggesting IRCC break the law, not moral obligation!

people seem to have this delusion that applying under 4/6 will be processed faster
it was faster only because in the last 2 years there were not that many people eligible, once the number of eligible people are up, there's no point/difference applying under either

So processing time is indeed going up, that's helpful...

Bill C24 guys were told they can apply under 4/6 rule...
they were told by... someone's neighbor's friend who spoke to a MP in some unknown event?
and of course they can apply under 4/6 if they apply before the start of 3/5 date, and that's the only way they can apply

Ha ha ha....No, I mean they were told by Her Majesty's officers while entering for the first time as PRs.

judging by most posts/questions on this section of the forum, I'm going with a tsunami of applications... with Costco cards as proof of residence... and horribly unprepared government drones to deal with it. no wonder processing times are in the gutter...

Out of curiosity, if you were qualified to apply on 1.April 2016 in old system before c24, couldn't you have applied on 1.April 2017 under c24?
