ETA EMAIL waiting on owp

Hi applied back in July for pr through spousel sponsorship. I also applied for a OWP as well but haven't heard anything back apart from one email saying that my eta has been approved in accordance with my work permit. I have yet to receive a new work permit and it has been 2 weeks since the email. Does anyone have experience of this or any info on this? Does it mean that my OWP was approved and can expect it soon? I'm just a but confused and there doesn't seem to be much info on this

Eta? Do you mean eTa = An Electronic Travel Authorization ? In my experiene once you received notificiation on your ecas, immigration will mail your work open permit thru mailpost so please check your house mailbox during 2-3weeks or if you curious still, please call the CIC to make sure when they send it to your place - in my case, they sent it to wrong adress bt i could get it anyway. Congrats for your work open permit

They are sending the eta in accordance with the OWP. They're not the same thing, but you should get your OWP soon.

They are sending the eta in accordance with the OWP. They're not the same thing, but you should get your OWP soon.
