Hi

We have applied super visa for my dad who is retired from Indian Air Force from India and provides below documents:

1. His pension account details (monthly income 24k INR).
2. His Canada insurance worth 100,000 CAD.
3. My annual income, 78,000 CAD.
4. My PR And passport copy. My wife's PR approval letter long with my 6 months old son's passport who is holding Canada citizen ship.
5. Also my T4 , 6 months salary slip and NOA letter and bank statement .

My mother passed away 10 year back and my father is currently staying with sister in India . We have our own home in India but it's in my name and my family only holders family properly which we are not able to show in papers.

Can you confirm what are the chances of getting visa approved for my dad. We have already applied his visa last week.

Regards

Hi,

As you have already applied, you'll need to wait for the decision. It's not possible to guess a decision.

Super visa approvals depend on a number of factors, including the ties to the home country (unfortunately, your dad does not have any) + financial responsibility of the host-child (which you have proved).

IMO, you should have also submitted:
1. Your birth certificate (to prove the relationship)

2. Pension renewal (Life certificate) especially if your dad needs to return to renew the pension in the short future

3. Any other benefits that you dad is entitled to as a retired armed forces personnel.

As your dad retired from the airforce, it is possible that IRCC will run background checks on his career/his application. This could possibly result in processing time beyond the estimated processing time posted on the IRCC website

Hope for the best :)

Hi

Thanks for your reply, we have submitted his ex serviceman details along with application and ID card print out. Also my sister's details are clearly given in the application. Let's wait for the result.
