My bcg got changed just after passing medical. You're in a different scenario. I hope it changes soon for you. Or maybe you might want to call them to get some idea.Yes, inland CEC.
AOR Aug 31, Mep Sep 12th. Background check to be " Your application is in process. We will let you know if we start your background check." since the beginning of my application, never changed to Not Applicable.

No idea, I never ordered any. Ik mine is in cpc Ottawa.@Mystico_90
Not sure if you know but on my GCMS notes i just noticed under application assignment it was sent to ottawa and it says assigned to xxx anf due date is 24th October. Does this mean it needs to completelld by the agent before that date??
Anyone??
Generally that's what it means, but recently CIC has not been 100% compliant with that date. Can you provide a brief preview of your timeline ? might be able to get more information from it.@Mystico_90

Hi Mystico_90,Hello All
I am not May/June AOR, but sharing to get some idea.
My AOR 28th Aug
MEP 5th Sep
I never noticed any NA under BCG. Just after passing the MEP on Sep 5th, I had the following:
Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents Additional documents are being reviewed.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
On Sep 26th, Review of additional docs changed to
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. (Same from Sep 5th)
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Any comments?
Thanks for the information. Should I use the term eligibility check while calling them? They usually say, they're doing BCG and that's it. I need more info like the stage etc.Hi Mystico_90,
Background check - no additional documents required is a good sign which basically means that they have verified your documents and are happy with that, but take that information with a grain of salt as we have seen the statuses flip flopping on CIC account.
Then again considering your timeline, you are making great progress. BGC and Security doens't take that long.
The one other thing you could do is to give them a call and ask them if your eligibility is completed and what's the recommendation on it ?
Regards
Riyas Siraj
Yes, I believe if everything goes fine, you should have your PPR before that date.@Mystico_90

You can ask them specifically " has my eligibility been completed and what's the recommendation on it "Thanks for the information. Should I use the term eligibility check while calling them? They usually say, they're doing BCG and that's it. I need more info like the stage etc.
I will call them soon to get some more information. I am really worried if I missed something (you know the feeling). Also my file is in CPC Ottawa. I will keep posted if I get any update.
That makes me really happy. I noticed CEC inland takes more than 3 months to get processed. I will call them and ask specifically the current status. Last time they said they're doing BCG. I will be careful this time. You can ask them specifically " has my eligibility been completed and what's the recommendation on it "
And from your timeline, your file is moving considerably fast .. it has only been a month and half ... 3 to 4 months is the current average for CEC inland apps... i don't think you have missed anything.
Please note that, according to the IRCC call center agent last week, my eligibility and criminality have not yet been assessed which confuses me because my background check status indicates I'm at IP2.
which category did you apply under, CEC or FSW ? and file moving to ottawa is a good thing as it must have gone through a few checks.I do remember having my file processed in Sydney, NS back when I requested my RCMP Criminal Record Check. I called IRCC last week and the agent said my file is in Ottawa. Does this mean that it has passed certain steps in Sydney before being passed to Ottawa?
Please note that, according to the IRCC call center agent last week, my eligibility and criminality have not yet been assessed which confuses me because my background check status indicates I'm at IP2.
Timeline:
June 15th, 2017 - AOR
August 15th, 2017 - Medicals Passed and backgroun check "Not Applicable"
August 19th, 2017 - RCMP Criminal Record Check request
August 28th, 2017 - RCMP Criminal Record Check provided and Background check "We are processing your background check. We'll contact you if we require further information".
Thanks!
AOR - 31st mayThat makes me really happy. I noticed CEC inland takes more than 3 months to get processed. I will call them and ask specifically the current status. Last time they said they're doing BCG. I will be careful this time.
What's your timeline?
Wow, it took some time from your AOR to MEP, but after that it was really quick. Ik it's with Ottawa but they didn't tell me the date. I emailed CPC email address, and they just said it's with CPC Ottawa for processing.AOR - 31st may
MEP: 07th Aug
No other updates in between
PPR: 28th Sep
waiting for COPR
Also ask them when was your file transferred to Ottawa ? That is a good indication of timeline, ottawa processes faster. on average it takes 30 to 45 days for issuing PPR's once they receive the file
